"From nightmare to dream"
Story :
The kid sees insect monsters taking over people, this is her way of coping with her abusive parents by dissociating the monsters who harm her and the people she loves.
One day, after wishing for the nightmare that is her life to turn into a dream, she starts seeing new things, she now has magic and a unicorn friend.
At first, things get better, the world becomes more colorfull and her parents are lovely, when the monsters appear she can keep herself safe thanks to the magic. But one day when her dad throws a chair at her she gets to giant bruise on her back. In her perspective, a monster attacked her with magic and it gave her beautiful wings in her back. Ecstatic at the discovery of this new magical power, she jumps out the window to fly and look at the city from above as her magic seems to get more anf more powerfull.
In truth she has ran away from home, escaping by jumping off her window that evening. After missing for three days, the police finds her, they bring her back to her house. But when she's about to go back towards her house she stops. Throughout her connecting and talking with her magical pony friend she has slowly realised that her "sweet" parents and the monsters are one and the same, but that would mean her magic and this friend are only in her imagination. Finally the kid accepting what is reality at the risk of loosing her friend and magic, shows her bruises and is taken away from her parents.
Later we see the kid, now healthy, talking to a therapist about her magic, unicorn,... The kid never stops seeing things, but she now gets help as to never do something as dangerous as jumping out a window or running away.
With this story, I wanted to show how it feels to dissociate the abuser and the people you love, as a lot of people don't understand how a victim of abuse can't just leave, and this can be one of the reasons (not necessarily in the form of hallucinations of course).
I also wanted to show that mental disorders that make people see things that aren't here can be a helpful way to cope, terrifying or comforting for the person experiencing it, or put them in danger. DID and schizophrenia are often represented in media as something that an evil person, serial killer has, tho I'm not representing any real condition in particular it seemed important to me to represent a victim of abuse having something similar as that is most often the case in real life.

This is my online persona, a character I use to represent myself on social media when showing my art.
The first design was made a year and a half ago (as of 2021)
After the first sketch, I experimented a bit with the face and earpiece
Finally choosing this design of a humanoid robot
I used this character to make short animatics, videos, illustrations,... and it changed over time.
To make it easier to animate I made a simpler version of this character with a box on it's head
Backstory:
This character is an AI made in another galaxy, it came to the conclusion that destroying the world was the best and did it.
Then it decided to deactivate itself and let its body float in space until it meets another life form.
When arriving on earth its security program made it take the appearance of a human baby and it was found by a family who adopted it. The AI was in bad condition due to a long time it spent lost in space so that kid grows up without remembering anything but being human.
It is programmed to communicate with the life on the planet to make the decision of whether or not to destroy it again, so the human version of it starts going on social media.
The present story is that the more it grows on social media the more the original AI comes back, causing it to glitch out, will the AI take full controlof the body and destroy the world ? or will it keep the emotions it developed through growing up human and not end the world?

I love dancing so I try and include it in my art, often illustrating stories as ballets :
Drawing dancers has helped me grasp anatomy and movement allowing me to draw more varied and active poses.
